Pro Paint FAQ

The only way to sign up and opt-in to the program is by calling our Pro Xtra Customer Service Centre at 1-800-759-2070. They will be happy to assist you and help answer any questions you might have about the program. 

Yes. You must be a Pro Xtra member with a Home Depot commercial card linked to your account in order to join the Pro Xtra Paint Rewards Program.

Select in-stock and special order paints, stains or primers from BEHR^®, KILZ^®, CIL^® and GLIDDEN^® qualify as paint purchases. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full details on the products.

Depending on your tier, you can earn up to 20% back in value in Reward Points on your paint purchases. Silver earn 10% in value, Gold earn 15% in value and Platinum members earn 20% in value. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full details on tiers and how many points you will earn.

Example: You are a Silver member who spends $9,999 at The Home Depot and $1,000 of your purchase is spent on Qualifying Paint Purchases.

You are currently earning ten Paint Reward Points for every one dollar spent so you receive $1,000 x 10 for a total of 10,000 Paint Reward Points. You are currently earning one Reward Point for every two dollars spent (rate of 0.5 for every one dollar) so you receive $8,999 x 0.5% for a total of 4,499 Reward Points for the rest of your purchase. In total of you have collected 10,000 + 4,499 = 14,499 Reward Points combined.

No. You will only earn Reward Points in stores that are participating in Pro Xtra Paint Rewards. Please click the link for a list of participating stores.

Just pay for your purchases that same way you do today – by using your Home Depot commercial card. Your Pro Paint Reward Points will automatically be added to your Pro Xtra Account.

Your points will appear on your dashboard within 48 hours. Your paint points will be combined with your Pro Xtra Reward Points (as a bonus), appearing as consolidated Pro Xtra Reward Points. 

Unfortunately, not at this time. We are currently testing the program in select stores. 

All returns of merchandise from Qualifying Paint Purchases will follow the standard The Home Depot return policy. Your Paint Reward Points will also be deducted from your account. Please see our Terms & Conditions for full details on returns.
