Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but beware with delivery The tile is almost flat white with a faint and subtle shimmer which was exactly what I was looking for. It has a flat beveled edge. It’s not a 90 degree edge if you’re looking for squared off. We happened to but three lengths and payed for delivery. They are very long and heavy. We made the mistake of not fully unwrapping the plastic and taking a closer look other than lifting a corner. And by the time we were at the stage of our Reno we noticed the bottom one was in pieces. And not able to return by then. So please take a closer look as to not throw your money away

I'm looking for a solid piece of tile to act as a backsplace for a butcher block bathroom vanity top (72"). Is this product water repellant to serve as a backsplash?

It is recommended to seal this product with a waterbased sealer, similar to a natural stone item. Install with thinset, and not an adhesive type product, which could seep through the product much like stone.

How can this product be installed if the tiles are already done? Is there a glue that you can use?

Yes you can. With a grinder score two slits approximately the depth of a half a copper penny into each straight side of the shelf staying at least an inch away from the ends. Epoxy four pennies into the slits and let dry overnight. Locate the height of the corner shelf to match the pennies you glued in and grind identical slits into the wall tile. Epoxy the shelf in place and secure and brace using masking tape. Dry overnight and clean off any surplus epoxy.

Many cleaners labelled as "soft" still contain some type of aggregate that can scratch polished surfaces. It is best to use a soap such as DAWN that is neutral to avoid etching and scratching of the surface.

Use a waterbased impregnating sealer without enhancer. We do not recommend any particular type of brand, but major brands such as Laticrete, Customs, and Mapei are the major brands on the market.
