Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like it! I like it! Might not be everyone's flavor but the wave adds a little bit more character then a plain subway tile while still keeping it clean and bright. I picked this for my vanity because it's 3 inches so I could fit 2 rows under my outlet. Don't worry to much about lippage because of the wave tiles are uneven so you can't get it perfect. The wave actually makes this tile very forgiving for anyone wanting to install it themselves. The key to this tile is the grout, it can make or break the tile. Make sure to shape grout nicely and it will come out beautifully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful results! The quality was great. Each tile had the right amount of bumps and/or waves in the surface to give an interesting finish. Installed using a 1/3 brick pattern with grey grout. The light bounces off the tile to give a fantastic sparkle under the cabinets!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Tile! This tile is absolutely gorgeous, pictures do not do it justice. The texture adds so much uniqueness compared to the basic subway tile. Highly recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Beautiful tiles that added that little bit of something to our project. Perfect little extra detail instead of plain flat subway tile. The lighting in the room hits the face of these tiles and really makes them sparkle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Artisan White Gloss Tile Beautiful tile for the price. Grouting was a mess because of the wavy profile but well worth the effort for the finished look.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful tile, great value for the price Purchased this for our newly renovated kitchen and couldn’t be happier, exactly what we were looking for. This is paired with Laticrete brand Bright White grout. Cabinets are Edgecombe Gray by Benjamin Moore, and cabinet hardware is Richelieu champagne bronze, 128mm square handles. All came together as we had hoped!

Has anyone tried to successfully install this wavy tile using a manual tile cutter?

Asked by: Kate
Due to the uneven surface, a tile saw with a diamond blade is recommended.

Have a friend that installed it, and after a while, the glue kind ate the white and was an orange color. I just bought this tile, and he told me this. I want to know what type of glue I should use with this tile not to happen what happen with my friend?

Asked by: brub01
This tile does not have a "glue" on it. If installed with a proper thinset as per the instruction, there will be no such reaction. If your friend used a solvent type glue or different adhesive product, that would be the reason for the issue, but that is caused by the adhesive they used and not the tile. Install as per the instructions exactly using a thinset to install this product.

What trowel size should I use? Like what depth of notch and shape. Thanks.

Asked by: MaryS
For a tile this size, you can use a 1/4" x 3/16" v notch trowel to install.

Are you able to use 1/16 spacers with this tile? We want the look of smallest grout line possible.

Asked by: Bree
Wall tile should be installed with a 1/8" grout joint, and increased if you are planning an offset / brick type pattern. 1/16" is too small, and should only be used on rectified tiles or stone that have been machined to a consistent size.

Is there any risk of the tile being scratched by a sanded grout?

Asked by: Jane
This was not the case for my application.

I reviewed the Q & A. The Anatolia Rep recommended a minimum 1/8 grout joint, but others have reported using a 1/16 grout joint. Just wondering the reason for the recommended 1/8. Is it for aesthetics only? I'm planning to use a medium grey grout.

Asked by: Jane
Per the TCNA guidelines, 1/16" is only recommended for rectified tiles that have been machined in a secondary operation to a tighter tolerance. The necessary grout joint size is 3 times the tile size variation to allow for installation variances and movement / settling of the home. Since wall tile is allowed a 0.8mm size variation, this means a 2.4 mm grout joint minimum. 1/16" is only 1.5 mm and too tight. As well, this tile has an artisan / uneven edge on purpse for the design to look hand crafted and will not accomodate such a small grout joint. Tile on tile contact in your install will lead to tile cracking over time should there be shifting that results in tiles touching each other. Warranty would also be void if the install did not have the proper grout joint per the TCNA installation guidelines (also noted in ANSI A108.1 for how to install ceramic tile).

What it the recommended tile spacing? 1/8 inch? If butted together they don't seem to allow anything but a hairline grout line which I don't think will work. they don't have any nubs on them to automatically create any kind of larger spacing.

Asked by: Larry
This tile should be installed with at least a 1/8" grout joint. Use spacers as this tile is not lugged. Tiles must never be butt jointed together as this will lead to tile damage if no space is allowed for seasonal house shift / house movement and will waive warranty on the tile and installation materials if no grout joint is used.

What is the best shade of white grout to use with this tile?

Asked by: Boguesy2020
The tile is a cool white tone. Look for a grout that is cooler in color to complement this tile.
