Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would not purchase this again I’m quite disappointed with this item. It clogs far too easily. It comes with a mesh sleeve that’s supposed to prevent clogging but I find this pump clogs quicker than any of the other pumps I’ve purchased in the past.

at what level does it shut off at , and what level does it start?

This pump includes an integrated sensor located at the rear of the unit that detects when the pump is no longer submerged in an adequate amount of water. It will turn off when the water level drops about a half inch or more below the top of the pump. At this point, the pump will turn off until more water is added or until the pump is fully submerged and safe to resume operation.

can you tell me in inches or millimeters, the start and stop heights?

This pump has a stop height of 47 inches. The start height would be reflective of the pump placement and the top of the pump output.
