This Motion Activated Wall Sconce combines PIR (passive infrared) and photoelectric technology to provide two levels of brighness in your area of use. The PIR motion sensor activates autiomatically when there is any movement in the room and the photoelectric sensor ensures that the light is only activated when the area is dark. Position away from a refridgerator, oven or air conditioner so that these appliances don't affect the temperature of the ambient air around the sconce, affecting the performance of the sensor. This product is ideally mounted about 6" - 7" above the ground. Ideal for stairs, entranceways, hallways, foyers, livingrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, garages, boats and RV's
