Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great stuff. BE WARNED! You *cannot* allow this to pool up on the surface at all, you need to just get the surface damp then stop. And if it does pool up anywhere you must wipe it off quickly. This can be applied with a hand held pump sprayer very easily but you must keep the sprayer moving at all times. I highly highly suggest getting a paint roller to roll over areas you spray. This will ensure there are no areas where the product has pooled up. If you apply too much, it will leave a white haze over your pavers/concrete. With the warning to my fellow DIYers out of the way, this is a great product and I highly recommend it. It waterproofs very well, it's like magic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Applies easy This is my first time using a concrete sealer. I decided to use a pump sprayer, and worked out perfect. However, I am concerned with longevity of the product. There seems to be some wet spots under some water beads that in the concrete. Like the water has soaked into the concrete. This does not give me much confidence. It is however, heading up the water, so not sure what’s going on. Main reason for using this was to protect my garage floor from the harsh winter elements. There are more expensive products on USA website, that gets better reviews. I wish we had a better selection on sealers. I’m also concerned when this product starts to fail. Seems like a lot more work to remove it, in order to apply new coat/product.

It looks like the pot is holding up and not absorbing much water, but it gets darker in colour when the plant is watered, so I am not 100% sure what the protection will be like in the long-term because it seems to still be absorbing some amount of water (despite having applied 2 coats to the inside and outside of the pot).

I was rather shocked at the cost, but based on how long it is expected to last and how well it works, the value is good. We did an intensive pressure wash of our 22 year old exposed aggregate and concrete driveway, and applied this with a sprayer, and I really wish we had done this years ago. The water actually beads on the surface and it runs off and dries much faster than before. I was concerned that it might be slippery, but it really is not. I will be buying more of this to do the sidewalks around the sides of my house as soon as I find time to pressure wash them thoroughly. It will be interesting to see how much this reduces the algae that normally forms on the concrete in shady areas; after about 2 months there is no discoloration on the driveway, but we haven't had much rain since I applied it either.

Water will pearl on the surface but will penetrate after 30 sec standing still. 3 gallon to retard water penetration 30 sec is not what I consider efficient...

My builder suggested me to apply the sealer to my brand new concrete driveway, but I am not sure if this waterproofer is the one I am looking for, and what kind of tools I should use when applying it. Would you plz advise? Thanks.

I applied two layers of paints in an interval of 30 minutes with brush to the concrete floor of my cold room in basement. It worked as advertised. Several days later, it rained again and I found no more leak in the room afterward. I am going to apply the same in my garage and front porch later.

Can this be used on natural stone? I have a patio with unpolished Muskoka granite, set in concrete with mortar to finish.

Is this product safe to use to seal concrete floors in a sauna?

In a sauna, this sealer would be exposed to heat. I don't know enough chemistry to tell you whether this sealer would be stable when exposed to heat. There might be potential for off-gasing or failure of the sealant function when exposed to heat. These questions could only be answered by the manufacturer of the product. They should be able to answer questions about using the product in a sauna. I don't have the knowledge you need.

The original decor paint on concrete garage floor's peeling & pitting damage to bare concrete due2 winter salt. Can I rub off loose paint (not stripping of all paint-DIY beginner here),wash&dry it well before applying? Will this fill the tiny pit holes?

It’s a clear light coat. It won’t fill holes. I would not use it over paint.  To get the look you want you need to remove the paint or repaint the floor. Painted garage floor are terrible as they require maintenance.  I paid to have the paint sanded off.  That’s the best solution.
