The "quiet close" feature has failed after less than a year. Can this be repaired?

Thank you so much for taking the time to contact us. The slow close mechanism is inside the hydraulic hinge. Unfortunately, there is no manual adjustment that can be made if the slow close mechanism is broken. This can sometimes be caused by manually pushing the ring or the lid down .
