Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful pipe, some might say the greatest Amazing pipe, I mean, it's really great. If you seal it properly at the connection joints, it'll keep water in or out, whichever you set it up for. Personally I'm be using some of these for their intended purpose, electrical conduit, but also at the cottage as the sliding surface for my fishing boat, and at the beginning and end of season, to slide multiple dock sections up a Canadian shield incline.

Hello I am planning to get a stamped concrete done in my backyard. I would like to get some electrical connections. Can this conduit be used underground/ exterior? Thanks

Yes. We used it to run internet cables underground from main building to portables at a private school.

Will be using these for some 18/5 wires underground.  Do I need primer and glue to connect them?

It may not be completely necessary, but it is recommend to ensure the joints are leak-free and as strong as possible. However, to be sure if it is required by code, it is also recommended checking the local electrical codes.

Is Schedule 40 PVC the same as DB2 for burial use?
