Very very bright, probably 50% brighter than the old two 4ft tubes we had. Turns on almost instantly and at full brightness. Great for a laundry room and we are purchasing three more for our rec room!

Give off good level & brightness of light, however since original installation, I have replaced 5 of the original 6 after approximately 1 year. I have now had 3 more fail just recently. Poor warranty support after one year (gave up). Also, the Lense cover is not the most secure I have seen on this type of light. I am a 25+ yr. Electrician, have checked power levels, wiring etc., there is no reason for this high rate of failure. I highly do not recommend due to longevity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good lights, good price This is an installation only review. I had my electrician install five of these at a customer's house, all ganged on a single switch. He said they were reasonably decent quality, and my customer was happy with the selectable colour temperature. These are also slightly brighter than a new T12 fluorescent bulb in a T12 fixture. My only criticisms are that is it shorter than a 4' light fixture, and that the wires inside are difficult to secure. They tend to hang down and even with zip ties they will still cast a shadow on the frosted cover. I had to go back and try to secure them in two of the fixtures. There are some better designs in some competitors, but they aren't as low profile as these fixtures are, so if you want something relatively flat at a reasonable price, with good brightness and the colour select feature, these are great fixtures. Just do what you can about those wires or they will fall down and look bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bright, clean LED overhead light. Nice, bright 4500K overhead LED light. I have them running 12 hour days in my wood shop (for the last three years) and they still work fine. I had one ballast die recently, but after a few phone calls and a few weeks Home Depot managed to replace it. Very lightweight and easy to install into existing ceiling wiring.

Can I use this lamp as the mirror lighting in my condo bathroom?

Hi, Thank you for this question. You could use this fixture for that application but it would be very bright, 5200 lumens is typically used in a larger space and if the fixture was placed vertically directly facing you it would be extremely bright. I would recommend a lower lumen product for that application.

May be very bright for closet lighting and not overly stylish. Perhaps look at the Artika cloudraker / moon raker flush fixture. These are very bright and more stylish for a closet.
