Rated 1 out of 5 by from Was really hoping for better quality I am a first year plumbing apprentice and have to drill many holes on a daily basis. The impact is outstanding and deliveries great power and having 3 different setting and a light makes it very useful. Thr hammerdrill is a different story. After only using it for a month it is starting to seperate under the tigger and basically splitting in two. Power it seem to have plenty with a sharp bit. I bought this kit as it was pretty much the top of the line and I was told to buy good quality tools and I am very disappointed at the quality after only one month. I can't afford to buy a new set every few months.

I need tools to withstand the weather while providing the power and reliance I need. I get that with Dewalt tools. Especially this combo here, the impact is my daily go to for all my needs, while the hammer drill is a great go to when I need to up my power and bore out some holes. I love these drills as I do anything that helps me preform at a high level day in and day out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor quality I bought this set less than a month ago and use the hammer drill about 3 times a week to drill holes thru 2x4 some times double stacked to run water lines as I am a plumber. I purchased this as it was pretty much top of the line for Dewalt. The drill is already coming apart just under the trigger and I figure I few more times drilling and it's just going to bust apart. For the price you pay I was expecting way better quality.

Would of given 5 stars but being only 5 months old this was a very disappointing experience with this drill. Been using dewalt tools for many many years, but this drill didn't cut it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brushless is the way to go Work perfectly. Brushless was the way to go as even the 2amp battery lasts a while. Hammer drill is a beast (did approx 50 holes (measuring 3/8 x 3" in hardened concrete and it all it got was a bit warm)). Impact driver will drive in 4" Timberlok with ease and is a work horse. Really pleased.

Plus you open the line up with the Flex volt battery. A no brainer of you are in the DeWalt platform or if you want to dig into.
