Rated 1 out of 5 by from Just can't cut it! I bought this ( 10" abrasive Diablo blade ) as backup for the old blade I had in my table saw. Although my old blade was quite old and worn, it managed several cuts through the 5/16" mild steel ( about 30" total cutting length) before needing replacement. I then installed the Diablo blade thinking I'd be able to finish my work but it struggled through barely 1" of cut and wouldn't go further! I tried several times and I couldn't believe it that it wouldn't even advance 1/8"! I'm returning this back to the store!

But if you expect, "Like I do" that they last longer SAVE YOUR Money and BUY A DIFFERENT BRAND. These are garbage! A note to Diablo, when a customer complains have the decency to answer for your products lack of performance. A note to Diablo, when a customer complains have the decency to respond, there is no defense for a crappy product.

Can this be used on a table saw?

Yes, this blade can be used in a table saw, radial arm saw or (compound) miter saw. However, before using it in a table saw to cut metal that may creat sparks, you should thoroughly clean all sawdust from inside the saw's cabinet to avoid a fire.

Can I use this blade on my compound mitre saw to easily cut eavestroughing?

I wouldn’t, I’d use side sheers. This is for heavier gauge steel like angle iron, rebar, closet rod, etc. This will likely fold up eavestrough

I would like to use this blade on my 10" mitre saw to cut hollow steel stair balusters to length. Is that an acceptable application for this product?

Hello, Although these discs will cut the material, they are not for use on a normal mitre saw. They are designed for use on a dedicated metal cutting saw only (the max RPM on those discs is 6100.) If you do not have access to a metal cutting saw, we do have the Diamond Metal Cut-Off Blade which can be used on a normal circular saw and will cut that material.
