Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bulbs Last Weeks or Months, Not Years I bought two two-packs of these bulbs about five months ago. Two of the bulbs have already died, and one of the bulbs was dead on arrival. The fourth bulb is still working, but based on my experience and what others have posted online, it too will quit in the next few months. The bulbs look good, and I'm sure they're still more efficient than regular incandescent bulbs. But save yourself the headache and buy Philips instead. Of the 15 or so Philips LED bulbs I've had in the house over the last few years, only one has died. They're worth the extra dollar or so per bulb.

As a comparable, I have Phillip's bulbs in an outdoor location that have ran almost constantly for almost 2 years and still going strong. These ecosmart brand bulbs are cheap garbage. Do not waste your money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Many failed after 1 year. Last year I bought over 20 of these EcoSmart day-light 60w equivalent bulbs when was on sale. Half of the bulbs failed after 1 year (warranty). All where used indoor. I think old halogen bulbs would last longer than 1 year. I would not use these even given for free. It is just too much hassle to change the build. Since than I replaced with Phillips bulbs (bit more expensive but hopefully will last few years).

Says 5 year warranty and will last for 10 years or 11,000 hours. In a lightly used room they now come in dim, brighten up after a few minutes then flicker off again. Cheap price and cheap quality. I expected better from Home Depot to stock such poor quality items.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ABSOLUTE JUNK! 20+ bulbs failed within 1 year. Extremely disappointed in this product, I have had incandescent and CFL bulbs last WAY longer. Most of these bulbs are made in China. I bought a few packs of these bulbs to deploy in my home. Voltage to my home varies between 117V to 123V at the socket, frequency generally spot on 60Hz. I have had these bulbs fail in numerous non-dimmable fixtures and I have many more that do the horror movie flickering (I have saved these purposely for Hallowe'en). I have both the older 9.5W and newer 9W versions (ceramic and plastic bases) - they vary by the box. I am not sure what criteria the OEM uses for Mean Time Before Failure but they definitely don't last beyond a few hundred hours. I have gone to a competitor to buy replacements under a trusted well known Canadian brand name.

Well, I bought 100 of these a year ago, and half are dead; most probably didn't even make the 1000 hour mark. Meanwhile, other brands I bought over 5 years ago still going strong. This fails to earn any additional stars. Turns out you get what you pay for.

Yes, we don't advise touch bulbs by hand directly while the bulbs lights on a long time to avoid hurt.

Are these bulbs identical to EcoSmart model#A11A19A60WUL03 which is sold individually? If not, what is the difference?

Hello, there is minimal difference between the two bulbs. SKU# 1001647830 (1-pack) - Provides 840 lumens, lasts 11,000 hours. SKU# 1000835485 (12-pack) - Provides 800 lumens and lasts 10,000 hours. Besides from this, they have the same specs.

Any reason why 4 of the 6 bulbs do not work? Had led bulbs working fine, wanted increased lighting and I am baffled.
