Polyester has the least stretch and best abrasion resistance as compared to nylon and polypropylene, though it cannot absorb shock loads as efficiently. It holds knots well and does not absorb water, which keeps its weight down when wet. It also has excellent ultraviolet (UV) light resistance, making it popular for extended outdoor use including for clotheslines, flagpole rope and boating. Do not use for overhead lifting. Never exceed the Safe Working Load of 100 lb. This 1/4 in rope measures 100 ft in length.
