Rated 5 out of 5 by from Biggest/strongest bracket I could find I combined these brackets with 3/4" ply to create a set of 24" deep shelves in my garage. Brackets are super duty and shelves carry a lot of mass.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way over priced! After i spent a lot of money purchasing 15 pieces, a friend showed me his reciept for the exact same product, almost 70% cheaper. Do you research online before you over pay for this!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 20-inch Heavy Duty Bracket Seem sturdy, not sure i would want to go close to the limit they specify. You would need some pretty hefty anchors to even get close to that. And a real strong wall!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid I used two brackets to support a desktop. The brackets are screwed into studs with lag screws and it is solid. The finish seems durable doesn’t peel off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Strong and heavy duty This is a strong well built bracket, it will take loads heavier than other brackets. Good for the garage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Under table/shelf bracket It’s hurts if you use it under a table and smack your knee on it...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good bracket bad shipping The brackets themselves are excellent. The packaging that was done to ship them to us was horrible. Four brackets litteraly just tossed in a largr box without care. Nothing used to separate them or keep them from chipping each other or to stop them from popping through the box

What would be space between two brackets for 24” Shelves to hold about 1000 lbs.

Asked by: Nila
Lot of weight for this bracket design. Not sure how long your shelf is, which will determine how much area the 1000 lbs will be spread over. With the weight you are considering, 16” centres,  I wouldn’t have more then 50 lbs of weight per bracket.

What size lag bolts will work to secure to studs in the garage? and what size screw to secure 3/4 ply to the top of brackets? thanks

Asked by: davo
Hi, Thank you for this question. For this item to support weight, they MUST be installed into wall studs. With that said, to take advantage of the 1000lb per pair load rating, we would recommend either a #14x2.00 or a ¼”x2.00 lag. A longer screw/lag is acceptable, but the 2” length would be the minimum length recommendation

Hi, I have a custom made wall hanging frame ( Wood frame and plain glass to protect the picture inside ) which weighs 20 kgs, 60 inch wide and 44 inches tall. I live in a condo and how do I go about/cost to hang this on the wall . Thanks.

Asked by: Nanda
Heavy duty bracket will support 20 kegs. Anchoring bracket to the wall would be my concern. Wood framing should be no problem, anchor brackets to the wall with lag bolts. Two brackets at 32” centres. If you have steel studs use substantial sheet metal screws, they may be secure enough. Test with a heavy object before hanging picture. Local handyman should be able to do this at minimal costs. Note: must be secured to wall studs, which should be at 16” centres.

Hi, if properly attached to studs and spaced every 16 in, can 3 or 4 of those brackets be used to hold a box out window? Estimated total structure’s weight is 80-100 lbs (including the window and the frame). Thank you

Asked by: Harley
These as a pair will hold 1,000lbs when mounted properly. It would depend on how the window is secured; this isn't something we test for or have experience in providing recommendations on how to mount, as these are intended to be used for shelving.

What is the maximum distance apart the two brackets can be in order to maintain the 1000lb load capacity?

Asked by: Kevin
Kevin - This would require the brackets be spaced every 16" and mounted to wall studs to maintain that capacity.

Are these able to be used outside without rusting?

Asked by: Jonathan
Jonathan - We do not test or manufacture these to be used in the elements and can make no guarantees regarding corrosion resistance in that setting.
