Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the price. With an extra touch... It did the job, and works well BUT only with a little extra effort... I used a little caulk/adhesive to secure the bar in the brackets. And, one package was missing an end bracket (I made a replacement out of wood). I would buy them again though. They worked well once installed with the extra caulk/adhesive.

What is the maximum weight it can hold?

Zk1404 - We do not rate closet rods with for weight retention. The amount of weight that the rod can support is determined by the brackets, if they are mounted to wall studs. Typically with our brackets, that is 300lbs per par with standard duty brackets, 500lbs per pair with heavy duty brackets.
