In particular, I hate when there is any wobbling in the installations of this kind. There is no. Brackets are very steady, there is no play. When I walk the stairs, I almost always use the rail. (It was absent from our home for the last 30 years.) The handrail gives me a new feeling. I didn't use to fell from the stairs but now I move with easy. Brackets are doing their job and they are very discrete. They didn't change the overall impressions of my house of 30+ years.

What is the weight bearing of one bracket?

I guess, you are asking about the bracket for the rail? I installed two brackets for a short rail and four for the longer one. I am using rails for support while walking up the stairs and downstairs. Rails and brackets work perfectly ok. There is no play (brackets hold very tight).
