Due to the pandemic caused urgency to stay at home and to only grocery shop when absolutely necessary we decided to purchase a freezer, an upright freezer that would be aesthetically pleasing to the eye due to the location in our open concept condo. We have to say that this upright is not only pleasing to the eye in brush stainless steel but it also works extremely well, keeps the food frozen, is amazingly quiet and the design of both the exterior and the interior are simplification at it's finest. Did I mention frost free? Did I mention the price point was amazing as well? This is one amazing freezer Frigidaire, well done!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks good, is just the right size, and works well This freezer replaced a slightly wider one, but still holds just as much. We freeze a lot of 10" x 12.5" and 10.5" x 14" (measured at the widest point) baking pans and these stack well on the shelves. The shelves in the door are just the right depth for 32 oz plastic containers which we use to freeze leftovers. At first I thought that a single light at the top would be insufficient to illuminate the entire freezer, but it works well. I like that the freezer has a Shabbos mode, but I have not used it, yet. Turning it off and on seems to be more complicated than two other freezers we have, but it's better than having to tape down a door switch.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Died after 2 1/2 years I will definitely NOT be buying another Frigidaire freezer. We purchased this freezer 2 1/2 years ago and then it stopped working. We called a technician who assessed it and told us the compressor was done. Given the cost of a replacement compressor, it wasn't worth repairing it. Our previous freezer lasted 30 years. I hate the thought of putting this freezer in the landfill. What a terrible waste. A salesperson told us that many companies now manufacture appliances to last just beyond the warranty period. This freezer had a 1 year warranty. I am now looking at a Danby freezer which has a 5 year warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to set up. We had a Fridgidare freezer at our last home and the new buyers asked for it as part of the offer. We let it go but really missed it at our new house. We've been without one at the new house for a few months and it was really great to finally get this one. It was well protected in the packaging and I found it easy to unpack it and set it up. I like the dial that says "Recommend Temperature" better than a bunch of numbers where I don't know what they mean. Indeed, the recommended temperature froze bottled water but kept the ice cream soft enough that it can be scooped out without a big wait.

We are hopeful this one will last longer given the coolant technology has changed. So far, we are happy with our purchase. First of all, it fit easily into the space we have available (which the previous one was tight in). Second, the shelves and single basket are suitably arranged and of good dimensions. We would like to purchase baskets to fit on the shelves to hold the items better and will be looking for those soon. We would like it if you could recommend where to purchase baskets. So in conclusion, happy with the freezer and looking forward to making it more useful with additional baskets.

My old deep freeze still works but I finally got tired off rearranging things every time I needed to find something. I absolutely love my new upright. It is working just fine. I did have to set the temperature a little colder than the recommended to keep ice cream firm but otherwise it is great. The only negative is the location of the temerature control. It is in the middle of the back and I am very careful not to bump it and adjust the temerature when putting items in or out. Should have bought it years ago..

We “upgraded” to this stainless steel Frigidaire model and did not get the warranted as we were so impressed by the longevity of the last freezer we had. All that to say as soon as the warrantee was expired the freezer stopped working.

It not only has ample room to hold all the frozen purchases we make, but everything is also so easily accessible - . There is no hidden product and therefore no waste whatsoever. I can now see every item in my new freezer - I'm no longer hanging over the uncomfortable edge of a huge square monstrosity, trying to retrieve something from the bottom! This is definitely something I should have purchase years ago! Love it, love it, love it!

The dimensions of the racks are 17" Deep by 21 1/4" Wide-The width is not enough-should be 21 1/2" or a little more to avoid rack falling down when loaded-a problem we corrected by wedging tape around the rack.
