Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great lamp The problem was that I had to order 7 units before I received one that was not welded crooked on the wall base and because it is not carried in the store inventory, I was not able to check them before paying for them. First I ordered one and put it on the wall to discover that it was crooked and I had holes in my wall. I ordered a 2nd one which was also crooked so I then ordered 5 and one of which was tolerably straight. Very sloppy production control!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2 in 1 Bought 2 pre-Xmas for living room so I could have proper light over head and shoulder for reading and writing. I needed at least a 60 W bulb. Wanted something easy to mount as a wall plug- in or maybe at somepoint hardwired. I like that the shade dimension is small, about 7 or 8 inches in diameter and that the whole is pretty unobtrusive; (white shade silver hardware against a light wall) but provides decent light. I wanted a horizontal extending arm for placement of light where I need it , and it extends just about right--approx 18" ? I like them enough perhaps to get 2 more. Tip: remember you'll want to be close to an electric plug for wall-plug in. As to the cord hanging down, if you want an inexpensive 'cord-cover' (which usually range from 30-50 bucks ) do what I did . I bought the translucent plastic wall corner covers at Home Depot (prevents corners from getting chipped , banged etc.) These have 2 adhesive strips on the sides the whole length of the strip (come in 8' lengths) which hold the cord in place nicely inside this 'cover'. The wall- corner -cover is easy to cut with scissors to desired length from fixture to baseboard, and a spot of hot glue can achor it at the bottom. Just a suggestion but it's worked very well for me giving a pleasanter lighting aesthetic then a loose tangled cord.

I think it's a great option to have a wall lamp which can be installed either as a pug-in or hardwired directly and one which has a switch built into the body of the lamp. I wish Home Depot carried more with these features so there were more shade & finish styles to choose from.

The replacement lamp for the older broken one also has a faulty switch. It’s as if the switch is stripped but with a little perseverance I can get it to turn the light on. Very nice little lamps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy little light Bought a couple months ago nice light for the price easy to install I really like that it has the on/off switch right on the light base as I hard wired it and with haveing two close together I can keep one on and one off if I want in saying that I am disappointed because when purchasing they only had one in stock was assured they would be getting more and still none in stock
