Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible Product! I used to use Goof Off to remove oil stains from clothes. However, lately, I find it doesn't work like it used to; now, you need to use multiple applications, wait each time for it to dry (it stinks like magic markers), & use stain remover to eliminate the rings left behind, which may or may not come out. So it ends up taking a number of days & a lot of Goof Off to possibly remove the stain. It used to work with 1 application instead. It's a lousy product. I emailed the company to complain, & they never responded. Use Oxy Max Force (available in the supermarket & elsewhere) instead; it's a great product that works the first time, & doesn't stink.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Did The Job I Wanted Very Well Renovating a condo where the previous owners installed the baseboard and trim while the paint was still wet over laminate flooring 5+ years ago. Goof Off did the job I was hoping for in removing the old paint (latex) from the flooring surface. Some areas took more time than others however the end result is perfect, the laminate flooring's finish was not affected at all. I can't comment on other applications as this is the only project I have used it for. I recommend doing small areas at a time as the fumes are strong and rubber gloves are a must.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from There are better alternatives for removing glue I didn't find this product worked that well at cleaning tape and glue residue off hard surfaces. I much prefer WD40. It works like a charm and is better priced as well. I haven't tried the Goof off on all its claims but for removing sticky residues left behind from stickers I wouldn't recommend this as it takes too long and too much effort to remove the glues.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Product! We have been using this cleaner for about 8 years since our daughter decided to crayon the gas fireplace front which melted the wax to the glass front. It was impossible to clean until we tried this product. We have used it on our hardwood for paint drips, as well as very old tape residue or other sticky items. It removes things like lipstick from fabrics, glue marks etc. and takes very little effort. Would Highly Recommend!

Will this product remove latex paint from vinyl siding?

It should. I use it on almost anything that doesn't have paint underneath the spot your doing.
