It is compatible with fans equipped with either CFLs or incandescent bulbs, and has a 3-speed fan control for versatility. This universal remote kit is intended to convert a PULL CHAIN Fan in to a remote operated fan. Will not work with all fans, specifically if the original fan had a remote feature already included.

A battery is included for even greater value.
