Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the seeded glass! We love the size of this fan - it's huge. For reference, the tv is a 60" in the picture. Also the seeded glass matches our lights in our nearby bathroom (we have the fan in our master bedroom). We put a golden Edison type bulb in it which really gives the whole rustic look we wanted. One thing is we wish it had three speeds. It only has two - fast and slow. Otherwise, it is absolutely perfect!

I would say no, the rod swivels in the attachment brackets, I installed it on a slopped ceiling , it works great and I am very satisfied with it

Is the light bright enough to have over a kitchen table?

Thank you for your question. In general, we recommend using ceiling fan lights as a supplemental light source used in conjunction with other lighting such as lamps or recessed cans. This fan has one light and may be suitable for mood lighting, but we would not recommend if you require very bright light output. The bulb can be replaced with a brighter bulb if desired.
