Rated 5 out of 5 by Nathaniel from Cost-Effective Thermostat with a Great Feature This thermostat was installed when I had my furnace upgraded. It will remember your different temperature settings for "Heating" and "Cooling" seasons so you don't have to remember what you "used to set the thermostat to last year". It has three settings for your fan/blower: ON, OFF and CIRC. I have mine set to CIRC year round. Keeps all the rooms in my house closer to temperature without me remembering to turn the fan ON and OFF. It has solved my "too hot/cold room" issues Can be a bit tedious to program, but once you do it, you just switch from HEATING to COOLING and back. No Wifi options, but I personally think Wifi thermostats are not necessary

Rated 5 out of 5 by Paul H from Hard to set up? I'm writing this review to let people know this thermostat is actually one of the easiest thermostats to set up. Every thermostat on the market has an installer set up where you need to go deeper into the menu to make changes. Everything is in the INSTALLATION manual. If you read the "quick reference" owners manual it doesn't have how to make some of the background changes. Plus you wouldn't want the setup menu to be so easily accessible that your kids can mess around with it. If you want to bypass the program/schedule (manual mode) all you need to do is turn up or down the temp and push the hold button that will appear on the screen after you change the temp. It will now hold the temp permanently until you cancel it. It's actually very easy

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jimbo_4660 from Honeywell T4 is just junk! I used to have an old Honeywell from about 12 years ago and it worked flawlessly. I moved into a brand new home and it came equipped with the T4 model. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. You need a university engineering degree to just start to program the thing, let alone actually program it. I eventually just gave up trying to program the thing. Now I set my home for 68 degrees and I would expect the furnace to come on and heat the home to 68 degrees and shut off when desired temperature is reached....NOPE!...It will heat up to 64 and turn off and take a break for an hour or two. Then when it does turn on it goes on and off for hours as it heats the home. I now have a series of portable electric heaters around my home keeping it warm. Next week I am replacing this absolute piece of junk. PLESE STAY AWAY FROM HONEWELL PRODUCTS....THEY ARE GARBAGE!!!!!

Hard to program. Programs change after 7 days for mysterious reasons. Keeps cycling my air conditioner when the house temp is not near the set temp.
