The Husky 1/2-inch Click Torque Wrench is made of alloy steel construction for strength and long-lasting performance. Its ergonomically designed handle easily turns to set torque. The finish provides resistance to corrosion and wipes clean easily.

Priced similar to several other 1/2 inch torque wrenches with just as similar torque ranges but this one is available close by at Home Depot. YouTube reviews showed the wrench was on the better end for accuracy (every individual wrench would be different though). Setting the torque is simple enough and easy to twist. Comes with a black plastic case as well. Handle is long enough to make tightening lug nuts a breeze. Would recommend.

No problems so far changing tires for 6 cars. Lifetime warranty no receipt required. (Maximum 1 year with receipt) THIS IS A NO BRAINER. i tried to do a review of the Maximum wrench but CT WOULD NOT ALLOW IT. Had a big problem at CT. phoned their CS the problem was resolved. Received a credit for the wrench. Walk over from CT to Home Depot and purchased the Husky one.

Unfortunately, it is made in China and the store version included a 1 year warranty where as the online one ordered came with a Lifetime warranty for exact same product. Manager in store could not care less. Beware of these solely profit seeking corporations making lower quality products in China.

The adjustment is much easier and quicker than other similar wrenches i've used, both when setting then backing it off for storage. It comes with a decent case for storage. I'm just a DIY tire change guy, but perfect for my needs.

It's comfortable to handle, smooth to spin it up to the right toque. I am happy with it, especially it has lifetime warranty!!.

My car needs 89 ft lbs torque. This torque wrench I just purchased today DOES NOT able lock at 89 ft lbs but 90 ft lbs or 88 ft lbs. Any suggestions?

Vicky, This wrench locks in at even number increments. You can select one Ft./lbs. above your odd number setting and use the wrench as the instructions state and you should have no problems on your workpiece.

What is the full length of the rod.

If you by ROD mean the torque wrench, then the overall length is 24.250", the length from centre of the 1/2 square drive to the middle of the handle is 21.250"

Boomer, The torque range for this wrench is 40-200 in./lbs. This wrench will not work for your 26 in./lbs. application. We do offer a Torque Screwdriver that should meet your needs. The torque range is 8-40 in./lbs. This wrench features a Limited Lifetime Warranty. This warranty does not cover the calibration of the tool or other wear and tear.
