Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great I installed this light in my shop for those days when we gather with friends for a few drinks but don't want to use my 4 bright shop lights. The installation was a breeze, I like the ease of the push connectors in the junction box that comes with the light. Connecting to the app is a different story, the instructions are not the greatest. In order to connect the app to the lightyour router has to be on 2.4G and to reset the light you have to turn ON and OFF, ON and OFF and ON with 2-4 seconds in between. Once setup the light works great, also works great with Google Assistant. I would recommend this product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 6" Smart RGB + CCT RECESSED PANEL LIGHT Installed a 6" RGB + cct Recessed panel light to a room with 8 currently installed recessed lighting ( pot lights). The kit came with a junction box with a built in integrated WIFI controller and the panel light. The installation allowed for about 1 foot of play between the junction box and the panel light (which is more than enough wire). The panel light is super slim which would be great for tight installations also as long as there is room to place the junction box in the ceiling. In order to enable dimming and colour /Kelvin choices, the app called "dals" must be downloaded as the unit will not accept a dimmer. The download and set up of "dals" was quick and easy to use. Highly recommend this unit for both it's looks and ease of installation.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst installation ever WSo i recieved this light thinking it was easy to install and this was the worst installation ever it was hard to connect threw the app. When i got it connect there was a delay in changing colour. It would take about 1 to 2 seconds to change. The parts that it comes with are cheaply made and i would suggest you buy a box of merets. overall i would stay away from this brand.

With an ultra slim 1/2" height profile that makes installation in existing ceiling very easy. The smart light feature is really handy with adding the ability to dim the light and set a schedule for when you want the light to turn on and off. You are also able to access the light remotely.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Quality and Features Wi-Fi LED pot light. Needed to replace a in shower light and this LED 6" Wi-Fi controlled did the job. It came well packaged and build quality was good wished that there was more space inside the controller box. The LED has to be controlled by the app, has color temperature, scenes (Disco in the Shower), RGB colors. One issue is it was a little hard to pair it with the app and Wi-Fi.

We can use the illume app to do many different things, including color changes and on-off functions. There is a wide range of colors. When we have friends over we let the light cycle through colors. It was very easy to install as well. The instructions are clear and concise.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice features but room for improvement The overall quality of the light is decent but could be improved. The Bad: The junction box seems flimsy and the springs/wings seem cheaply made compared to other models in the market. The unit I received was missing the wire connectors shown in the instructions so I had to use some spare twist on connectors I had on hand. I was surprised that this light doesn't come with a cutout template as any similar light I have used has always supplied one in the box. Not a huge issue for someone who works in the trades but would definitely benefit a DIY'er that may not own a hole saw or be as experienced installing this style of light. Lastly, this light is rated for dry locations only. Anything I have purchased has always been rated for dry/damp locations. Seems like this should be an easy fix to allow it to be used for both types of conditions. The Good: Nice clean looking trim/bezel on the light itself. Works with both the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa platforms. Does not require a special hub to connect to WiFi. Dimmable (through the Dals Connect App). The remote access feature is probably my favourite as it can provide additional security by giving the impression that someone is at home inside the house while you are away. The ultra-slim profile of the light at 1/2" saved us quite a bit of work in our latest project. The drywaller was a bit off on his cuts for the holes for one row of the lights. He ended up cutting out a hole directly beneath a joist. The slim profile of the light allowed us to install the light in the existing hole rather than having to patch the entire ceiling and cut out all the holes for the row again. There was a bit of playing around with the positioning of the light inside the hole to make it work but the end result was just as tight to the ceiling as any other light installed.
