"Replace worn out or old gaskets around your wood stove door with this Imperial 5/8-in x 6-ft Fiberglass Gasket Rope Kit. For use with wood burning airtight stoves and fireplace inserts, and coal or pellet stoves, the fiberglass gasket helps prevent leaks and improve heating efficiency. It has a round, braided design for improved durability and strength, and the rope gasket is capable of withstanding maximum temperatures up to 1000¿F. The gasket is easy to install and secure in the channel of the door using the included gasket adhesive. For best results, close the door and let stand for 12 hours before creating a low fire, then gradually increase heat to permanently cure the adhesive.Includes gasket and 2 fl. oz. bottle of gasket adhesiveFollow stove manufacturer's manual for size requirements.
