The Kidde 900-0235 is a 120 V AC powered, plug-in carbon monoxide alarm with battery backup. The 900-0235 is an easy to install unit that provides reliable protection against the dangers of carbon monoxide.

  1. Many Provinces & Municipalities have created legislation requiring smoke alarms or specific types of smoke alarms in various settings. Certain laws also specify when homes need carbon monoxide alarms.
  1. The CO Electrochemical sensor shall be of a fuel cell design and shall meet the sensitivity requirements of CAN / CSA 6.19-01 - Residential carbon monoxide alarming devices.
  1. Test / Reset Button Tests the unit for proper operation. Resets the carbon monoxide alarm
  1. Tamper Resist Feature If activated, unit goes into constant alarm mode if it has been unplugged or has come loose from the outlet
  1. AC Plug-in Operated Easy to install just plug into an AC wall outlet.
  1. 9 V Battery Backup Provides continuous protection in case of a power failure.
  1. End of Life Notification Ten (10) years after unit is first powered, this alarm will emit two beeps every 30 seconds to indicate it is time to replace the alarm
