I tried this outdoor wood glue for my few of my outdoor wood projects and it has been great. It was very easy to use and comes out evenly so it is mess free. It even comes with a spot to keep the cap so it doesn’t get lost. The instructions were easy to follow. The bond between the wood pieces are kept strong, and I have noticed it has kept well against the rain and sunlight. Overall, it has been great to bond my wood pieces together.

We used it to make a wooden bird house and it met and exceeded our expectations. It was easy to use, and the colour and consistency were good. We live in Vancouver and the glue has held up in the rain which is great. I would recommend and am looking forward to using it on other projects in the spring. I’m able to cap the glue properly and save it too which is great.

First, I love that this glue is a high-performance adhesive that is resistant to water and moisture so I can use it outdoors or indoors. I am so impressed on how strong of o hold it has. It has over 3700 psi of strength. I tried to pull apart the top of the frame that I had glued and it was impossible. It so easy to use and flows nicely out of the tapered nozzle. Love that you can clip the lid to the bottle so I won’t lose it. So great that it is non-toxic. It is sandable, paintable, and non-flammable. It is also so easy to clean with just soap and water. Rated 3 out of 5 by from Don't leave it outside. This is my fault entirely. Note to novice glue users. Leaving the glue out in sub zero temperatures will make its water content freeze and it will become useless. Any wood glue will do this. Be advised.

Does this glue bond wood to wood in temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius

I do not think it will cure at temperatures below 0 C. The chemical reaction is based on the glue absorbing water, usually from the air which is problematic below freezing. All chemical reactions slow down as the temperature decreases so at best the cure time will be very long.

I have a kitchen cutting board that has a small crack. Can I used this glue to fill that crack? Is it safe to use on food surfaces?

This glue would fill the gap but it would not be solid. As it dries it develops air bubbles. So it would not be useful for your needs in my opinion. What you need is a glue filler that’s not construction grade polyurethane that comes out of a gun. Try this product it also comes in colors. Go to ‘Sugru.com’.  Look around you’ll find what you need. Good luck.

Thank you for the question. LePage does not speak to leather as being a suitable material to bond with the LePage Polyurethane Wood Glue. This is not to say you cannot try but it is not known what kind of results you can expect.
