Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, make sure it is dry before sanding (This review was collected as part of a promotion.) *I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion* LePage wood filler is a go-to product for us. The only thing I wish is that it had approximate timelines for drying on the info side. It has to be fully dry before sanding. I tend to plan to leave it a day or two and just forget about it so I’m not impatient and sanding too quickly. Better safe than sorry haha! Other than not having those timelines, we love this product and it works amazingly!

It was super easy for me to use. It works extremely well. If you're looking for a quick fix and Something that blends and sands super easy. This is 100% hands down the best product I have ever used. I had a gazebo on my deck that put holes in the wood and when It was removed it just looked horrible until I used this product. I now just need to stain the deck and it's all done.

This filler also dries pretty quickly once you apply it, so no long wait times. Haven’t tried to test the durability yet by drilling where I’ve used it, but for regular wear and tear it’s great! Also doesn’t smell strongly, which is a bonus.

When putting wood stain over it you can tell its filler and doesnt look good at all. Second projwct is the photo and the area i filled. Its good if youre going to be painting over it!

It spreads smoothly and can fill in holes and cracks. While I haven’t painted over it yet, it is stainable and paintable. It also has a quick dry time, making it great for any project!

Can this be used for exterior?

Thank you for the question. LePage Tinted Wood Filler is suitable for exterior, vertical applications providing the wood filler is stained or painted after it is cured. Keep in mind, it must be applied above 10°C (50°F).

I have some wood railing that have rotted. Do I need to cut away the rotten wood and use a wood hardener before applying this stuff or can I apply directly to the rotten wood?

You’d better cut the rotten part away then use it. Because the rotten wood is loosened. It won’t last long.
