Rated 5 out of 5 by from Minimal and Smart Overall we are very happy with this new stove. First time induction users and I enjoy the speed and functionality. Love that this stove turns burners off if there is no pot on the surface and has a light chime to let you know it has happened. Still playing with the features but overall happy for uses. Slight comment is the top ledge seems to already be scratched on the stainless steel because the glass is recessed under so it is a little scuffed sadly. It's not overly perceptible but sad none the less. Over time I imagine it will all just wear in and not be quite as obvious to me.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Induction Downsides I am quite disappointed with this range. As expected for an induction stove it heats up the pots and pans quickly. I don't like the arrangement of small and large elements, with the two small ones at the back and a wasted space next to them. I don't like the fan that runs until the surface has cooled. The sound drowns out cooking noises like spattering and sizzling which can be useful to hear. The low heat settings are not true simmers as the element comes on in bursts, so a hot liquid will boil for a few seconds at a time, then stop, then boil again. This is not ideal for thick soups or sauces. The range came with an air fryer basket which for me is a useless peice of junk I have to store. Also I miss the plate warming element my old stove had. The oven temperature seems to be accurate and is good for roasts and such. I am not a baker so I can't comment on cakes and breads.

Does this oven require the wall plug to be in a very specific location (e.g., 5” from the left side and 7” off the floor) I have reviewed the available documentation but don’t see anything specified. My electrician is concerned due to other installs.

Asked by: Paul
I don't think so. It comes with a fairly long cord. It plugged in to the receptacle used previously for the regular range, which is in the centre of the space and a few inches off the floor.

Is there a cord for the outlet attached? Is it the same as a regular electric stove?

Asked by: Bill
Normally it is a 220 V heavy duty cord attached to the stove with a 220 plug. If you are missing that, it should have come with the stove when you bought it.

Is there an exterior light?

Is it a steam clean oven?
