Rated 1 out of 5 by from Short cord Unfortunately unless you build your house expecting to have a washer-dryer stackable then the receptacle is way too low to plug in. My dryer cord hangs about 9 inches from the ground so I have to call an electrician for hundreds of dollars to move it. Why wouldn't LG have the forethought to make a cord that is a bit longer considering it is a stackable unit. I proceeded to buy a replacement aftermarket cord because I figured it would be cheaper and easier even if it voided a warranty but of course when I opened the back panel the clips are of special design and I need to call a specialist and of course there are no LG repairmen with my vicinity.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from concern about safety and insurance i bought this at homedepot, it looks a bit higher than expected. it doesn't fit my space as the diamension is the same as my old unit. it is queit and work well so far. The only thing i do not like is the contractor they hire from other source through LG ship to homedepot and ship it to us as a consignee. it is a consignee job which doesn't seems like professional. and we also have concern about safety and insurance if it is not employed directly from homedepot.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dryer does not dry clothes Buyer beware, this dryer does not properly dry clothes we have to keep putting it on an additional 45-60mins again. I thought new technology would save time and energy and work properly. I've tried all settings to get my clothes to dry - sometimes they dry, majority of the time I have to keep setting for another 45 - 60 mins after the initial load of 60mins because the clothes are still very damp. So new technology now takes me 2-3hrs for some loads to dry and I have to babysit so that damp clothes don't sit in the dryer for hours while I am out doing errands. We had this for a year and had issues within the first month that close do not dry. This is with energy saver off. Now a year later have had our second service person come to tell me that the machine parts, venting and heat are working fine, nothing they can do. So why are my clothes not dryiing... I miss my old Inglis machiine. Will never buy an LG product again.

Easily removed lint trap Quiet, efficient and each drying setting does what it is suppose to. I had a Whirlpool dryer that kept burning out. This dryer has so far been very good. .

How do we turn off the sound on the dryer.

To turn off the chime sound on LG model DLE3600W, you need to press and hold the Wrinkle Care button for 3 seconds. The chime will sound once to indicate that it has been turned off. Here are the steps on how to turn off the chime sound on LG model DLE3600W: Make sure that the washer is turned on. Press and hold the Wrinkle Care button for 3 seconds. The chime will sound once to indicate that it has been turned off. If you want to turn the chime sound back on, simply press and hold the Wrinkle Care button again for 3 seconds. The chime will sound twice to indicate that it has been turned on. Here are some additional information about the chime sound on the LG model DLE3600W: The chime sound is a short melody that sounds when the cycle is complete, when the settings are adjusted, or when the washer is turned on or off.
