Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lithonia 48" Led Linear Strip Light Purchased 2 and they are perfect for my 2 car garage. They replaced my 2 x 48" fluorescent fixtures which were 25 yrs old(they didn't always both work in winter cold/had to keep turning on & off). The new led fixtures are even brighter than my old fluorescent which had 2 tubes each. They are more yellowish light color(cool white 4000k) than the white of fluorescent which I will get used to. Easy install by my handyman, only issue was these are narrow & didn't cover the old outlet box in ceiling(will put some white duct tape to cover). Can't tell how long these will last/has 5 yr limited warranty(most led fixtures now advertise approx 30-50,000 hrs usage). Price reasonable. Would recommend

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Fixture Great fixture. Easy to use, good quality. Lots of light. my only issue is the ground wire length doesn't match the power wiring. Needs a "jumper". With a bit of ingenuity, you can reconnect the ground connection closer to the power wires.

can these be used to replace existing fluorescent tube fixtures? Where is the power source coming in, at the end or center?

The MNSS fixture can be used to replace fluorescent fixtures. Power can be run into the fixture either from the center back of the fixture or from the end knockout.

Can these be strung together in series like single tube flourscent fixtures.. and how many could be connected??

The MNSS comes with an aligner bracket so you can connect multiple fixtures in a row. However, each fixture will require a drop because they aren't rated as raceways and don't allow for through wiring.
