The metal structure is fine and the light strips work well but installing the lens was extremely difficult and resulted in breaking the lens. The instructions did not adequately describe what was required to install the puff, it kept slipping off the framework and the locking mechanism would not engage properly. Eventually with 3 people we were able to achieve installation by which time the puff lens was damaged. I now need to replace the puff lens and am not sure how to go about that without ordering an entire new fixture. Very disappointed.

The room is now bright and all areas well lit. The only caution is the cover which is quite light and would probably shatter if dropped. Make sure it is in place before letting go.

Relatively easy to install on my own, but had to glue back together one of the locking brackets that dropped onto my ceramic floor.

Cover comes off and on very easily. Very bright light and a stylish look for my kitchen. Very happy with my purchase. Should have done it years ago.

Would this light have the same or more output than the 4 bulb 4ft fluorescent fixture it will be replacing?

Can this fixture be dimmed? Can supply wire be brought in at another location along the centre line? The junction box is about 41/2 inches away from the centre of the fixture but is okay along the lengthwise centre.

Yes you can dim if you use a LED compatible dimmer switch. Yes there are multiple options for wiring .

Can you get a different LED lamp of 2700 or some lesser amount than 4000K for this same fixture?

Does this have the circuit box built in? (I do not have the option to cut a hole in the drywall to install a circuit box)

The FMLL requires some sort of j-box to make electrical connections. Although a j-box is not required for the installation, in that the FMLL needs the j-box for support, but the cavity of the FMLL is not rated to be used as a junction. In other words, the FMLL box can not have the supply power leads terminated inside the fixture. If you have plenum or ceiling height restrictions, you could possibly use what's called a "pancake" j-box. They come in 1/4", 1/2" and 1" depths.
