The Pico remote control is a convenient way to control Lutron Caseta Wireless switches. With the 2-button Pico you can turn lights on or off from anywhere in the room. You can use the Pico as a handheld remote, mount it on a wall or mount it on a tabletop pedestal. You can also use the Pico remote control to turn on the lights from the safety of your car as you arrive home. Remote has 10 year battery life (battery included). Includes (1) Pico remote control; coordinating accessories sold separately.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very handy remote Purchased this to be a mobile remote to control lights mounted on back garage. It did not come with pairing instructions and the little slip of paper is in tiny print and not helpful (hence I dropped a star). I followed instructions I found from other users but had to phone Lutron for detailed. Instructions: Hold down the off switch on the wired-in control for ~8 secs (until it blinks rapidly). While it's still blinking, do the same on the remote. Done!

Does this remote control comes with a wall mount bracket to hang it on the wall or it Sold separately ?

What is the maximum distance the remote can be from the light / switch / bridge to control the light?  I live in a multi-dwelling complex and would like to control my exterior light from the parking lot.

The Pico remotes have a maximum radio frequency range of 30 feet. If this is not far enough, then Lutron would recommend setting up an Arriving Home scene in the Caseta app that operates via geofencing. With the Caseta Smart Bridge installed and setup, follow these steps: Setttings > Arriving/Leaving Home > What decides if you are home? - My Phone's Location > Set Home Location - establish geofence area (1,000 ft to 10,000 ft) > Arriving Home - select devices
