Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Lightweight Drill and Driver The Makita 12V Max Drill/Impact Driver combo are great little workhorses. I love the smaller 12V tools because they're just so much lighter and easier to store. They pack nearly the same punch as their older 18V or 20V brothers. I was able to use masonry bits on concrete and drive deck screws with the impact driver without issues. Drilling and driving tasks from simple DIY jobs like installing a curtain rod to building an all new backyard deck were no issue for these. With the two batteries included in this kit, I've always got at least one ready to go. Build quality is top notch and these should last for many years of use.

Can this be used to remove lugnuts in a car?

Thank you for your question. No the torque capable in the impact driver will not be sufficient to remove properly torqued lugnuts on a motor vehicle. A high torque impact wrench is best suited for that application.
