Rated 2 out of 5 by from Trying to work I've been less than impressed with this tool over the past month of ownership. When topping up tires the pump gauge jumps up from actual pressure to the selected air pressure in 5 seconds and cuts off without filling the tires (e.g. tire is at 33psi filling to 36psi; gauge reads 33psi and jumps to 36). Pressing the fill button starts the pump again and pressure resets to actual value (33psi) and then jumps back up to the selected pressure (36psi) and cuts off again without filling the tire. I've been able to get the pump to work by increasing the PSI difference by 5 PSI or more but then there is a 50/50 chance the pump will turn off at the newly selected pressure.

It goes through battery like crazy, can't even finish inflating both tires on a bike, and that's when it doesn't shut down from overheating. The pressure sensor is also lagging. The tire is visibly inflating but the pressure doesn't change on thw screen. However, if I turn it off and on again, the pressure could be as high as 10 psi over the last reading.

The fact that the hose nozzle screws on to the valve stem of the tire makes it incredibly easy to use and allows me to step away while the tool is filling without worry. Great purchase!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible I bought this inflator about two months ago, because I am constantly in and out of construction sites as I am a project supervisor, and I had previously gotten a few flats. I asked you that Milwaukee would be the best choice as always has been but this inflator filled a tire and a half on my F150 then stopped pumping air. I made a sound, but didn’t produce any pressure. After that, I realized that my 6.0 battery did not even take a charge so I tried a fresh for final battery and the same thing happened except when I went to try the four XE battery in my drill I could tell it was lacking power and when I clipped it on my pants, the battery was so hot I thought it was on fire. The battery casing was slightly distorted, so I did not want to risk injury or damaging my other tools So I Dispose of it the next day, and it was even more distorted, like the acid was leaking on the inside. Complete waste of money and cost me two new batteries because I can’t wait two weeks to send it to be examined and repaired. Expensive lesson.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Designed for small tires like 12" or bicycle tires I used it on a common truck tire 18" of a F350, with a fully charged 6.0 battery and i think 15 to 20 minutes later when the battery was dead the tire still needed more air. It has very low cfm power. Then design features are nice but way too limited in purpose, it should be a M18 system and 4X the power. Dewalt has 2 a way better cordless compressors, but i am not adding another battery system. Milwaukee, I see the CEO and Director of the R&D not forcusing more on higher functionality of tools M18 enough

Well it sure surprised me, it reads tire pressure, can set to the required pressure and you can start it, walk away as it turns off at the set pressure. Compared to other vehicle compressors it well worth the money. Even a better deal when you have other M12 tools.
