Good value for money, nice form factor and well built. I'd enjoy a voltage indicator on the battery pack itself, which is a nice benefit of the DeWalt 20V system I am also invested in.

These are worth it if you wait for a sale but otherwise I'd be looking into the 4's or 6's. I really, really like the form factor of these batteries (which is the same as the 4 and 6). The smaller more compact M12's have their place but the beefiness/heft of these allow a lot of my tools to stand upright and just look and feel more capable for some reason.

I have 2 m12 3.0 batteries and both have broken tabs. I have purchased the 4.0 batteries and they seemed to have resolved this issue with the plastics cracking.
