The Mitek KNS1 protection plate is an easy-to-install plate that protects plumbing and power/communications wiring from nail or screw penetration. Made of 16-Gauge steel, it conforms to protection shield plate requirements of the National Electrical Code and International Plumbing Code. Additionally, the plate has a G90 galvanized finish for improved corrosion protection. Mitek connectors are designed for code compliance, easy installation with commonly-available fasteners, and high performance.
