How deep does this go into the wall. I do not have a full 3 1/2" of space in my wall.

How Difficult is Installation

How big a job is it to install this product, is it required to be close to a stud?

The depth is shown 7.62", height 4.16" and width 7.12" but it looks like the height and depth may have gotten mixed up as the height and width appear similar, and a depth of 7.62 seems rather high. Is this possible?

Thank you so much for your interest in Moen products. The Donner DN5075W Recessed Paper holder requires the following installation: 1. Cut a square hole into wall measuring 5 ¼” x 5 ¼”. 2. Loosely attach both screws through the recess item into the slots on the clamp. 3. Slide the wall clamp through the wall opening angling it through the opening if necessary. 4. Position the recess item until flush with the wall and tighten both screws.
