This kit includes unique aluminum extrusions to build a 4 ft x 12 ft dock, two 6 ft galvanized steel posts with base plates, all stainless-steel hardware, and the western red cedar decking. An aluminum floating dock layout absolutely requires an anchoring system at the end of the dock and at every 30 ft. of the floating section. It is the concrete anchoring blocks that will keep the docks in place under wave movements. This essential kit will prevent the dock from moving up and down, and laterally. Anchoring chain retainers are required on both end corners of the dock and in the 4 corners of the floating dock section where the boats are usually moored. This kit is designed for the QPF-500 dock system, but this system can be bolted to the underside of other models if they can be drilled to accommodate the 1/2" bolts.
