Makes deck installation easier and faster with the patented Stratton Bracket by simplifying the most complicated step in deck building: attaching the ledger board to the house. The Stratton Bracket can be bolted directly against most types of siding and accommodates any size of 2x material such as 2x6s and 2x8s and allows the framework to be built on the ground befor being set into place. It also allows the framework to be shifted within the brackets for squaring, levelling, and centering to the house. The bracket's design permits air to circulate between the house and the ledger board which prevents water build-up that could cause rot, decay, or insect infestations. It also allows the ledger board to expand and contract without affecting its securement to the house.
