Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product performs as promised. Very easy to install in the rough-in stage and the tub slid into the opening without and issues. Included is a cover to use while finishing the floor along with a couple different styles of tailpieces and connectors. It is a premium item and it is priced accordingly. But if you follow the instructions, its an easy solution to connecting a stand alone tub to the P-trap without having to open the ceiling from below.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from ITD35 NOT WORTH IT DONT BUY A chain is as weak as its weakest link. This product has a weak link That customer support refuses to identify. Most of this product is seems very sturdy and well built. But there's a weak link. My bathtub leaked and when I called support before pulling apart, the equipment. They said oh, most likely it's this washer that moved when you're installers installed it, They knew where it leaked because it's happened before, but they refused to solve the problem. The washer they're talking about is the same kind of washer under a kitchen sink. When you attach the pipe to the below the kitchen sink. It's a 99 cent washer. It's not designed for this, Especially When it is super expensive. Support knows about the problem it's happened before. And they brushed me off saying it works most of the time. Then they said oh i'm sure you'll solve it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Pay less with a different company not worth the pr I am a plumber I installed this and followed the instructions, I have only installed one of these before they don't tell you need to tighten the underbody that has the gasket between it before installation because I ended up gluing it to my abs and only noticed after I poured water and soap on it for testing that it was not tight and secure the water just pours out. It's garbage now and I need to replace it.

Will this work with a 9" joist + 5/8" subfloor + 1/4" flooring? The tub is a Maax 105797-000-002-116. The tub's drainage pipe is 1/2" below floor. Will there be enough space for the 8" long brass flanged tailpiece & the p-trap (3-1/2" height)?

I contacted OS&B and they said that in this situation, the brass tailpiece would need to be cut. The instructions say to not cut the brass tailpiece, however, OS&B said that as long as good pipe cutter is used and it is reamed and deburred, then it is okay to cut the tailpiece to the required length.

I have 6" 1/4 empty space available under the plywood. Would this product work? thanks

Yea this will fit there, bear in mind that the p-trap will touch the drywall, but that ok as long as u can get a slop

How is the snap off test cap tested? How do u test it before closing the floor? What is the difference between the one with the cap and thd previous version with the sticker/paper over it?
