Remove 5/8" insulation from conductors to be spliced. Insert stripped conductor in the butt splice. Tighten set screw to the lb per inch recommendations on the packaging and check for continuity of wire. Move heat shrink tube over splice and center. Heat tubing with torch or heat gun (MSTR-TORCH). Tubing shrinks at 350 F. Start in the middle of the tube, apply heat moving lengthwise back and forth over tubing. DO NOT TRAP AIR IN MIDDLE OF SPLICE KIT.
