The ThermaCELL Mosquito Area Repellent Appliance alleviates the annoyance from mosquitoes by repelling and killing mosquitoes and reducing the number of bites in an area as large as an average-size deck or patio (up to 4.5 meters from the product). It is a very effective DEET-free alternative to smelly lotions and sprays. The repellent works for up to 12 hours and the appliance is refillable (refills sold separately). This pocket-sized portable mosquito repellent runs on butane, so there's no need for batteries or plugs. This product can be taken anywhere you expect annoying mosquitoes to be a problem. It also repels black flies, no-see ums and sand flies.
