The toggled full spectrum horticulture shop light is engineered to provide improved growing performance for green leafy plants using a broad range of LED output wave lengths. All toggled LED tubes work within existing fluorescent light fixtures and eliminate ballast replacement cost, buzz noise and light flicker. The grow lamps are mercury-free and energy efficient and designed to work in standard T8 and T12 fluorescent tube fixtures.

I have no experience other with LED grow lights, but from what I've seen, this has done great job at keeping my plants happy. I live in a west-facing condo and this light has been a perfect supplement in helping to grow healthy tomato and pepper plants, as well as a variety of herbs, cannabis and houseplants. Definitely does feel a touch on the flimsy side, but all it needs to do is hang and I've had no issues otherwise. Bulbs have held strong and the fixture has not proven problematic. Will probably buy another one to support my growing indoor jungle.

Originally I was concerned that they wouldn't put out enough light compared to some more expensive brands but the proof is in the pudding. Plants growing like crazy!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product, but!!! The shipment arrived very quickly but, one bulb was defective. Home Depot does not look after the warranty, it is looked after by Toggled themselves. After sending them photo evidence of the defective bulb they immediately sent me a replacement. The lights work great but it would be alot easier if Home Depot looked after warranties themselves. I live in Canada and the shipping costs to order directly from Toggled are completely insane.

I recommend buying extra chain as well - if it is mounted too high above the seedlings the plants are still leggy so it needs to be lowered down to just above the trays and the supplied chain isn’t long enough.

Without knowing the specifics of your light it would be hard to say, but the LED grow lights will use roughly 50% less energy.

I want to hang this light over seedling trays that are 11" across. Will one lamp suffice or should I hang two side by side? The purpose is to start seeds (lettuce, tomato, etc) and grow them until they go into the garden.

I would go with 2 lights at a minimum. The biggest problem people have with grow lights is not providing enough light. I run 4 of those over a 2 x 4 area for lettuce and herbs. You will need a lot more light for tomatoes.

What is the lumens and the kelvin count on this light?

It's been the order of nine months since I bought these lights; lumens and kelvin count I don't have. However, I have been using these lights in my greenhouse since September with one 4 foot light per 4 foot by 4 foot bed, suspended 2 feet above the bed. Lettuces, onions, herbs and Swiss chard are growing well and we haven't had to buy these grocery items since October. So for this purpose and setup, they work great and for the three beds I have, the cost is not different then running a 100 Watt bulb for 16 hours (lights are on a timer).
