Trex Protect is a butyl based tape that sheds water and ice from the top of your wood joist structure, adding years to the life of your deck. Butyl based tape will not streak like asphalt tape and will not peal up and curl over time.

  1. We offer it in 1 5/8 & 3 1/8 widths to cover the top of the joist and beam. Each roll is 50 feet long.
  1. When the screws penetrate the tape membrane they are sealed from water and ice ensuring the screw will hold longer and stronger with no screw pop.
  1. Applied only to the top, this allows the side and bottom of the joist ventilation for quicker drying.
  1. Ease of installation, protects joist and beams.
