Is this solid vinyl moulding or is it vinyl clad wood moulding? I've bought vinyl moulding before and, after a year, the cladding is peeling away from wood.

What kind of glue should I use to join two pieces?

PVC of all profiles should be glued if used outside but not as important when used inside. Temperature variations will cause PVC mouldings to expand and contract. To prevent open miter joints, we highly recommend gluing all joints on PVC mouldings using a quality instant glue or PVC cement. • When assembling, splice and return miters by gluing the mouldings together before installation. This will allow you to fit the joints easily and fasten the trim to the wall as one unit. • Always test adhesive brands before using.
