Rated 5 out of 5 by from Built like a tank So far, I really love it. Grills are much better than our previous BBQ (different brand), as is the heat distribution. One major issue I had with our previous BBQ was the cheap, "office cabinet" type plastic wheels that all broke within the first year of ownership. I know it's a small detail, but the wheels on the Weber are actually made to withstand the weight of the grill and move around a plank patio without breaking off. My only minor peeve with the Weber is that a strong wind does tend to slip-in underneath the burners. Hasn't been too much of an issue so far, but I can imagine that it could be a problem if the BBQ is in an open area.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Temperature control Love the look of this unit. The three burner design allows for a good fit, not too big and not too small. The lid is deep which allows for good circulation. Temperatures are very easily manipulated and after opening the lid, comes back quickly. Have the natural gas unit, like that it comes with the part to hook up a propane tank if needed. Did not like the assembly instructions as the parts, while denoted on the boxes they came in, were not denoted in the book. Could have gone faster, but in the end goes together fairly easily.

Great for doing anything that needs a constant temperature. We found with other grills it was very difficult to maintain an even heat. That is not the case with Weber grills Would definitely recommend to anyone considering purchasing a new grill. The Weber may be a bit more on the price scale but in our opinion it is certainly worth it I don't think anyone would ever be disappointed with this grill

Although assembly process was well explained in packaging I did encounter as issue which affected operation of the grill. After initial contact with Weber, I was contacted by Maria A. from the Genesis Specialist Team. Her assistance was superb over a number of communication exchanges and the delivery of new components to complete assembly and operation successfully. Cannot express how helpful and positive this customer service was.

I’ve had a 3200 for three years while we shift to our retirement home, I had to sell the upgrade with the Canada house, but have replaced it with another Genesis in the Mexico house. That’s four so far, I hope that’s all!

This model is a bit more expensive than most but if have to say, well worth the price. It easily heats up over 500 degrees quickly. It's solid and not that hard to assemble. I'm very happy with it.

can i put a griddle grill on this model

Not sure about this model, but I just put one on an earlier Genesis model. It was from Weber. I don't recommend it, I found it very hard to keep clean, your food is always contaminated with little bits of carbon, very unappetizing. A better bet is to buy a small Blackstone griddle if you really need one.
