I bought it because of the 3rd rack, and the silverware holder can be placed on the door and the brand is regarded as reliable. Since then the motor died at the same time I called to get the broken top rack fixed! About 4 months ago the coil to the dishwasher dispenser broke and because of covid I just called to get it fixed today. It doesn't clean well at all unless the dishes are pretty much spotless already with no dried on food. I would recommend against this brand or if you go for it get the extended 4 year warranty like I did or you will be paying for parts and a repairman out of pocket. I regret buying this dishwasher.

I purchased this at the end of January 2022 and it was noisy from the 1st cycle. called for service and was told this is how the dishwasher works??? with every cycle run the unit is getting noisier. the last cycle I measured the noise level c-weighted at 62-76 db at 10 feet distance and 5 feet from the floor. how noisy is it??? 18 feet and 2 rooms, 2 walls away and it can be clearly heard cavitating. the 21 year old GE it replaced was quieter other than during the fill part of the cycle. I should have saved over $450 and bought a standard bottom of the line unit as Whirlpool does not want to deal with this noisy appliance.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never again Bought a model similar to this from HD (SAHW vs SAKZ). First 6 months cheap plastic top shelf pieces broke. Getting a hold of Whirlpool for parts under warranty was very difficult. It seems they discontinued many of the original parts and upgraded to metal, thank goodness. 12 months later it is leaking all over our floor. Repairman couldn't easily find the problem. I'm not running a labor camp or hotel, just a family of four's dishes. It wasn't cheap and I'll never buy anything by Whirlpool again.

This timed cycle runs at least an hour longer than specified and to save on hydro, we do not use the dry cycle, (as it does not dry the dishes anyways as we found out when tried it) we just crack the door open and a day later the dishes and bottom of the cutlery rack are still wet. I do not like the fact that the shortest cycle still takes at least 3.5 hours (even though the times says 2.5 hours) and at times the dishes are still not clean. Having metal interior seems to not allow for breathing and quick drying with the door open. My old 17 year old dishwasher with a plastic interior did a better job than this and only took an hour to run.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Form is great, function not so much. I like the way this dishwasher looks and the rack design is great. Racks pull out very smoothly. But unfortunately it doesn’t clean your dishes. The cycles are insanely long and dishes still come out dirty (4 hrs!? 2.5 hrs for the shortest one with no drying at all). You basically have to rinse everything off your dishes for this to clean your dishes. Which defeats the purpose of a dishwasher in my opinion. We had a kitchen aid before and my next dishwasher will be a kitchen aid again - as that really cleaned the dishes despite the idiosyncrasies that I didn’t love about that model.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad Upper rack wheels After 1 year and 2 months a wheel on the bottem of the top rack shattered and the rack fell. . I spent $65.00 for a new part with the wheel on it. You cant buy just the wheel. After 2 weeks the other side wheel shattered. another $65.00! I love this dishwasher but it will cost you extra for a flaw on these wheels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from We like it! Some tips... Nice dishwasher. Some tips: If you run the short cycle, it doesn't use heat drying, so you'll see water inside like one reviewer posted. The drain tube is included, and is 2m (6-1/2ft) long. Cut off the wide end of the grey rubber fitting if your pipe fitting is smaller and use a hose clamp. And this unit *does* have a vent, contrary to another reviewer. It's the slot on the front. You can see the vent inside right behind this slot. This unit is quite a bit quieter than our previous one which wasn't loud. You'll like it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Dishwasher, Fits a Tight Cabinet Space We searched high and low for a washer that would fit into our existing cabinet opening, which was pretty tight after we installed new kitchen floor tile. Not only does this unit allow for height adjustment, but the feet can even be removed, allowing us to *just* fit it into our 33 5/8" high opening. The unit itself is very nice, with a silverware tray at the top of the machine which allows for even delicate steak knives to be washed without fear of them getting dulled from being knocked around during the wash. Even with that added tray, though, there are still 2 good-sized conventional racks (and the middle one is adjustable, allowing you to customize the space for larger pans, as needed). Oh, and it's quiet, too. Very happy with our purchase!

Do you need access to the controls once the door is closed? My counter will block the controls once the door is closed, I need to make sure I can pick the cycle and hit the start button before |I close the door.

Is there a water sprayer or arm at the top for the items on the 3rd rack & how many water levels does it have?
