Does this thermostat have an anticipator? Or, how does it prevent rapid cycling when temp is reached?

Hello, Can this work with my Continental Gas Fireplace to switch it on and off at preset temperatures? It presently has a wall switch and I'm not sure what voltage it is. Thanks.

Hi, I’m looking for a millivolt thermostat to replace the wall switch for my Napoleon fireplace.  Will your White-Rodgers 1E78-140 Thermostat work and if so will the mounting holes line up with those on the switch junction box. Thanks.

Is this a line voltage thermostat as the specs say, or just a 24 volt control?

This thermostat does not work with line voltage (120 or 240 volt). It works with 24 volt and millivolt systems.

Can it be turned off? Will it work in a 12volt RV system?

Hi Alex, thanks for your question, the option to turn this thermostat off is to set it to a temperature out of range. If you need your system to be off for a period of time, it is recommended to turn OFF the furnace or AC unit. It is not rated to work on 12VDC systems.
