Rated 1 out of 5 by from Please dont buy this use your grade 3 math I really dont know why anyone buys this bulk mulch. Do the math 1 Cubic Yards is 27 Cubic Feet. A Vigoro Mulch bag is $4 and has 2 Cubic Feet. so cost of $2/cuft. This means that if you buy bags it would cost you $54 to buy the same amount of mulch, It will be a lot easier to carry to where you need it rather than using a shovel and a wheel barrow, even if you get HD to deliver it it you would get nearly 4 Cubic Yard for the same price!

It was really nice mulch and I loved that it came in the bag, rather than just being dumped on my driveway. My only critique would be to make the bag returnable for a deposit refund because our municipality won't recycle it, and I can't just throw it away. I may use it to cover some lawn furniture in the winter, but that was a bit disappointing. The price was fair though, and the product and convenience was great. I would recommend this!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Mulch seemed a lot more like dirt... We ordered the garden soil and the mulch at the same time. It was hard to tell them apart. I don’t think it will be long before we need to add more (actual) mulch to keep weeds suppressed at all. We had hoped that where we put the mulch would be evident to that the kids would know where they were welcome to trudge around in the garden...but this mulch looks too much like dirt. There’s no definition....which could be good if that’s what you are looking for. Didn’t really work for us.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad quality & over priced There were at least 5 to 7 large rocks in the bag as opposed to be all mulch. You would not get these rocks if you buy small bags. In addition, I found out that the price of this cubic yard is a lot more expensive than the same amount of mulch if you buy small bags. So would not recommend buying this but rather buying small bags.

Price was fantastic and loved that it included the delivery charges. Will order again in the future when needed!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Mulch Ever! I bought this a few weeks ago and really regret it. Delivery was convenient and easy. But the mulch was really poor quality, halfway to compost. Nothing at all like the mulch you would get at the store. It was actively composting in the bag, you could tell because it was hot and wet in the middle of the bag.

I am relatively concerned about the post that says that this mulch is very fine and unsuitable. I have used the Vigoro black mulch from Home Depot recently; and I would like to know if this bulk tote is similar in texture and consistency to the Vigoro?

Hello bonnie - the bag is yours to keep. Many of our customers re-use the bag to store patio cushions or sports gear. The bag can also be used to haul yard refuse or cover your grill or AC unit.

Is this mulch the hardwood that is treated. Also it looks like the brown is not as dark at the scotts deep forest brown. am i right

Hi there! Our mulch is made from cedar trees, and our Brown Mulch is the natural colour of the wood, so it is a bit of a lighter brown shade. Our Black Mulch has been dyed and resembles a very deep brown to black colour.
